Inside the Race is run by three die-hard racing fans: Greg, Mike and Shane.
Why did you create Inside the Race?
We grew up with IndyCars – it’s in our blood. For the 15 years before ITR existing, we felt like IndyCar hadn’t gotten it’s fare share of the deal. We want to change that. Photos, video, insight, breaking news. We want it. You want it. That’s why we’re here.
Do you actually go to races and events?
Absolutely! All three of us are from Indianapolis, making it easy to attend official media events, go to races, hop to test sessions and meet with the teams.
Do you shoot all of your own photos?
If we attend an event in person, we take our own photos. Mike and Greg shoot professionally and Shane is learning the ropes. We shot over 15,000 photos in 2010.
We’ve also had a few people shoot for us at races we couldn’t attend.
Can I contribute articles, photos or video for you?
Yes! We do require the content to be unique to our site (not posted elsewhere) and that it passes our editorial process.
